We received mail from Romney Rogers announcing he is again running for Commissioner. I've contacted him twice, receiving what I perceived to be a curt answer to the first query, and haven't received any answer to the second. The second contact had to do with drainage, or lack thereof, in the intersection of 14th Street and 18th Avenue. This was supposed to have been improved when the sewer lines were put in. In the interest of fairness, I'm asking my fellow Shady Banks residents to comment about whether Mr. Rogers has contributed to making our neighborhood a better place to live.

Can we invite him to our next neighborhood meeting?

I also attempted to contact him via email with no response regarding the drainage problem.

My experience has been opposite.  I contacted Mr Rogers about neighborhood drainage about a month ago and received an immediate response.  My request was forwarded to the engineering department and now I am waiting on a response from them.  Not quick service, but Mr Rogers was responsive to my request and directed me to the right department.

I emailed Romney Rogers and asked him why he voted the intrusive big
brother traffic cameras. I asked him if he read the studies by U.S.F.,
that indicate a vast increase in rear-end collisions and law suits. He
said he read other reports. Probably from the camera vendors. We all
know now ,it was all about the elusive revenue.
Jackie Scott ,on the hand said, if elected she would vote against any
contract renewal. Many cities and some states are banning the use of
of the cameras to protect their residents from accidents and political
      pickpocets.
